At 10am the area was overflowing with people. It was a success. EcoBotanic by EcoWorld Developments is the new sensation in Iskandar. Before 1pm, it was all over. The winning ballots stayed on for the selections while the rest left in disbelieve.

Iskandar Malaysia, is the place to be. The future is here.

Within the main tent, hundreds of early-birds managed to get hold of the hottest commodity – seats and shelter from the sweltering sun.

The smaller tent not far behind the main tent where mortgage bankers were positioned. More people with high hopes awaited their turn.

The big screen inside the main tent where people prayed constantly for their names to be called. Occasional screams of joy for heard from time to time.

Surrounding the main tent, people braved the sun while others fought for space under shelter from the morning sun.

Refueling station for thirst quenching, ice-cold orange drinks and some light buffet spread for those who skipped breakfast to ballot.

The last number called was 285. Which includes 50 ballots for the waiting list. Which means a great number (estimated 400 units) were probably booked by internal staff and VIP related parties.

Now that the ballot is over, it’s time to get back to enjoying the otherwise relaxing and beautiful Sunday in Iskandar. Cheers!
